Let me see...
I'm a Melbournian ex-ex-uni student, which (apart from being confusing) means that I am bitter, poor and often cold, and I wear far too much black (it makes me look sophisticated).
I was, until late 2005, studying Fashion Design, which means that I think/talk about clothes far more than is good for me. Don't let that fool you, though, I'm only a little bit shallow :P In 2006 I started a completely different undergraduate degree and am now majoring in sociology and gender studies amidst fellow students who are largely three years younger than me. So I feel old beyond my years, and think/talk about social theory and feminism far more than is good for me too. Actually, I'm pretty sure you can't talk about feminism too much, but some of my friends might disagree.
I'm a giddy Fred Astaire fangirl, which means that I think/talk about Fred far more than is good for you. I also own all of Britney Spears' albums. Yes, really. And don't even get me started on Harry Potter, Buffy or Firefly. Other fandoms you may encounter in the journal change from month to month, but may include House, Angel, Supernatural, Alias, Dark Angel and others.

Once upon a time my journal was primarily driven by fandom posts, fanart and fic recs, and I've made some wonderful friends that way. These days, though, the topics of my posts are more broad, and I'm on the fringes of fandom mostly for the meta now. If you're a HP fandomite here for fanart, I'm sorry to say that with the rare exception of my fanart100 works (all Pansy, all the time!) fanart is few and far between these days (and leans more towards het and femmeslash than the H/D stuff you may know me for). Come and introduce yourself, if you like, or check out the old art and go on your merry way, I don't mind. New people to talk to are always welcome, though, especially fellow fen :)
Finally, if you're an AICSA chorister or a WLA attendee, you might know me better as M-ra. *waves* Hi!
