What an adventure! [info]rhyannonf drove me down to Vic Roads and paid for my test and my permit (early Christmas present, for both of us, I think - when I can drive, she won't have to keep picking me up when she wants to see me *g*) and...we waited a lot. I had to wait almost an hour to actually be able to sit the test, though the test itself only took me 11 minutes. I am glad I took the practice test this morning, though, because I got two of the four questions I got wrong and went back to check, so I knew the correct answers :D Subsequently, I passed with 94%, go me. The area of the rulebook I need to advise is, apparently, "sharing the road safely". Heh. Whoops.

Thanks, [info]rhyannonf! Now I have to actually, you know...learn to drive and stuff. Hee.

We went and saw In Her Shoes afterwards, which I probably wouldn't have seen if she hadn't suggested it, but it was really cute. You've got to love a movie where one of the major themes is shoes :D And it was all about family love and...yeah. I cry at everything. Sad movies because I'm sad, scary movies because I'm afraid, tense or suspenseful movies because of the relief, happy movies because I'm too happy. *Is overemotional OMG* Cute girly movie, anyway. Yay, Toni Colette :)

In less happy news, Bevilles don't want to employ me. In fact, they dislike me so much that they sent two very polite emails to tell me so! At least they were polite enough to inform me that I was unsuccessful, unlike all the other places I applied >:(

Hurrah!! well done :D am v proud of you. If you get your Ps as soon as possible (ie 6 months after you get your Ls, if it's still the same) you can still beat me to it - I didn't get mine until a month after I was 21 *g* Mind you, I'd had my Ls for over five years by that stage...

*big congratulatory hugs*

It is v. shiny! My photo looks so smug, too, like I'm saying "haHA! I've got a shiny permit, so nyeeeer!"

It cracks me up every time I look at it (and because I am vain and it is an unusually nice photo of me, that is more often than I care to admit *facepalm*) :D

It *is* a nice photo. And I was totally vain too looking at my Ps when I got them because it's a really nice photo and it's such an achievement. Think of it not as vanity but more Proudness. (Wait. Isn't pride a sin too? Gah. Oh well, I'm damned as it is. Bring on the sinning!)
